grown in coastal valleys of Southern Peru. Fully ripened ají pods
are carefully hand-picked and processed with extraordinary care.
No artificial colors or flavors are used. A strict quality control
program throughout the processing line assures the highest quality
product. Try Peruvian ají varieties for a new and unique flavor
in your products or your kitchen. They come in three varieties:
- Mild (Ají Panca) - Capsicum chinense (1,500 Scoville
units)
- Medium (Ají Amarillo) - Capsicum baccatum (50,000
Scoville units)
- Hot (Ají Rocoto) - Capsicum pubescens (80,000
Scoville units)
