Raw Macadamia Nuts

Raw Macadamia (Macadamia integrifolia) nuts are grown in the lush Ecuadorian Pichincha Region 100 km west of Quito--an amazingly unparalleled area of biodiversity. The nuts are grown, harvested and brought to market by the Quichua people.

We are working with the Quichua people through the use of profit sharing programs so that they might lend assistance to the ongoing transition to Organic Agriculture, and empowering the indigenous peoples abilities to preserve their rainforest and continue their eco-activism in the face of the deleterious trades in the region.
