Cacao paste is like baker's chocolate: dark, unsweetened, and ready to incorporate into your favorite recipes. Ours is made from organic cacao sustainably-grown in the highlands of Peru. Freshly fermented RAW cacao beans are blend together to create a smooth texture that is very easy to work with in the kitchen.
Shave this cacao paste onto desserts, or blend chunks of it into smoothies; blend with nuts, dates, agave, or whatever your next chocolate recipe calls for. For ultimate fun, dip chunks of this antioxidant-rich dark chocolate in fresh local honey or sweet RAW agave, for a decadent dipping party!
To make raw chocolates: Melt paste in dehydrator or double boiler. Add Coconut Oil to lighten the flavor. Add a sweetener such as Yacon Syrup. Optional: add Trail Mix or Bee Pollen for crunch. Pour into molds or onto a tray. Refrigerate. Enjoy! Easy, breezy and yummy!
